Wes Carr
The Music Festival is a major musical event in the Sutherland Area . Wes Carr, a well known and talented singer song writer who plays many instruments entertained our students and sang for our Senior and Junior Choirs. Click here for more details.
Fifteen students were given the opportunity to attend a fishing workshop at Gunnamatta Bay. Thank you to the Recreational Fisheries Trust who invited the students.
The students have begun a weblog that includes comments about what they earnt on the day and what activity they particularly enjoyed. Visit our blog here.
Official Opening of "Jax Place" (Shelly Park)
The students in the Senior Choir and students in the SRC assisted in the official naming of the playground at Shelly Park in recognition of Jackson Stubbs. Jackson sustained extensive injuries in a car accident which also left him an orphan. He was subsequently raised by his grandmother who earned an OAM for her tireless efforts to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Jackson’s grandmother and representatives from Sutherland Council attended and gave speeches.
For your information Shelly Park Playground has been specifically designed as an 'equal access' playground which provides an inclusive environment for children and adults of all abilities to participate in community recreation activities in the Sutherland Shire.
Our students sang "We're All in this Together"

Easter
An Easter Parade occurs annually with students from ES1 and S1 participating. Students from Stage 2 and 3 participate in a Design and Make Competition involving decorating eggs and submitting them in a particular category. The Eggshibition is put on display in the Library. The school community is invited to both events and a monster egg easter egg raffle is run by Year 6 students to raise money for their end of year celebrations.
