Our whole school's Physical Education focus is the Fundamental Movement Skills Program. This program's focus is developing and enhancing the students' ability to perform a range of common skills and movements necessary for physical development. The FMS are learnt in a sequential order from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Rugby League 2008
Cronulla South entered into 2 Rugby League Competitions in Terms 1 and 2.
The following student report is from the ET Shield competition (non competitive division.)
THE E.T SHIELD
On Tuesday 10th March boys in the Cronulla South E.T shield competitive team travelled to Cronulla Caringbah’s home ground to play 3 games of rugby league. On our first game we played against Engadine West Public School. The game was exciting and we came out with a win of 9-4. The tries were scored by Angus and Josh.
We waited two matches until we finally played Gymea Bay Public School. This match was a lot more physical. This was showed by injuries to Reuban and Mitchell. After a close game we ended up losing 9-8 with tries to Josh and Reuban.
After a much shorter wait we played Our Lady of Fatima who we knew would be very hard to beat. The game was very one sided with Our Lady of Fatima defeating us 13-4 with our only try going to Josh from breaking straight through the defence and speeding to the try line.
Overall the whole team had a very enjoyable day having lots of fun. Special thanks to Mr Jones for organising the team and Mr Boylan and Mr Horner for training us.
